I just had to write a review on how easy this app is to find all the weather info I need. Love having the latest radar images at my fingertips and the updated hourly forecasts. Makes planning for outdoor activities so much easier. Thanks for making such a great Canadian app!!
Best weather app hands down!! And its free! I used the first version for a long time which I actually paid for, and now this one is even better. I like that you can actually see the weather patterns, and can look to see when a storm is coming. Its fun
Really great app. I use it everyday and my favorite feature is the hourly breakdown. It has been really accurate with when it will rain and allows me to plan my day appropriately.
The is hands down the best weather app in Canada. Version 1 was great and now version 2 will blow you away. The new layout is so easy to use and looks great. I like that I can pick and choose what I want access to in the app, I like things simple and so I can keep it that way. I love the hourly forecasting makes it easy to plan my day. Overall great app and now its free to download, what are you waiting for? Come and enjoy
So easy to use. Love the hourly option and the radar. Now I can track whether I need sunglasses or a raincoat for my sons soccer games. Also love the feels like temp option.
A well put together and very accurate weather app, only issues are the radar needs a little tuning its sometimes a little hard to see, and also weather watches and warnings are still highlighted hours after theyve ended, other than that its the most accurate Canadian weather app I know.
Some bad moments
Great application if it wasnt crippled by expensive features that many apps on par or better offer at no cost.
Money Grab
The "feels like" temperature is always the same as the "actual" temperature reading. It doesnt factor in wind in the "feels like" temperature. Just because the temperature reads -25C does not mean it feels like -25 when theres 40km/hr winds. That feels more like -35C.
The radar map is incomplete and totally unreliable during storms. The old app worked perfectly so this more expensive version is a HUGE disappointment. Even after talking to developer radar problems remain.
I bought this app to replace the amazing Degrees app that was discontinued. The degrees app was free and was very reliable for receiving Canadian weather warnings. I would have gladly paid for that app. THIS app, however, has been junk from the beginning. In addition to a clunky, non-intuitive layout, you get to pay extra for the useless alert notification service. Thats right folks, for a ridiculous $7 more you receive about 20% (if that) of the warnings issued for your area! Of those alerts you mange to get, some are received hours after the warning has expired. Among other events, this app has failed to notifying me of a tornado warning that I was included in and a severe thunderstorm warning that resulted in widespread wind damage and power outages. The price seems slightly expensive even if it worked but this thing is a complete money-grab ripoff. Whats next for these people? Maybe $70 smoke detectors that only go off for 20% of fires and hours after your house has burned down. Luckily I managed to set up my phone to receive a text when Environment Canada tweets a warning for my region. Thats free and actually works.
DONT GET SCAMMED!! DO NOT PAY FOR THE YEAR SUBSCRIPTION, NO SUPPORT, NOTIFICATIONS DONT WORK, WHICH IS WHY I PAID FOR THE SUB!!! GARBAGE APP!
